Dinosaur bones are the remains of ancient dinosaurs that have become rock as a result of minerals crystallizing within the bones, and turning them into fossils. While complete skeletons are rarely found, bone fragments are common, as are whole fossils of the smaller life forms of that period, such as trilobites and snails.
Why do people collect these “dino crystals?” As a matter of fact, dinosaurs are always fascinating subjects for most people, and most kids love owning bits and pieces of these ancient behemoths, just for the novelty alone. Check out this page, which talks more about collecting dinosaur bones.
