Mesothelioma cancer is the type of cancer which damages the organs of our body by affecting the membranes or the outer lining which surrounds them.They mainly affect the lungs, heart, abdomen and others.They are classified into 3, based on the organs they affect.
Peural Mesothelioma: It is caused by the damaging of lungs. This disease can grow quickly and enlarge the pleural space. Thus causing it to fill with fluid which leads to discomfort or pain. This is the first detection of this disease. It is mainly caused by inhaling of fibrous materials including asbestos. Lodge in the pluera causes damage to the liver in time and the cancer finally errupts.
Pericardial Mesothelioma: It is caused by damaging of the pericardium a lining around the heart.This type of cancer affects the pericardium cells which produces a lubricating fluid that protects the heart. Same as the lungs these lead to the expansion of tissue and accumulation of fluid leading to chest pain.
Peritonial Mesothelioma: It is the cancer that affects the serous membrane surrrounding the abdomen known as peritonium. It is due to the ingestion of fibrous materials including asbestos.
