Getting a job in retail marketing can be a pretty challenging thing. When I first started putting together a retail sales resume, I thought that it would be easy. I had had several years in a retail sales job, good communication skills, and a fair variety of activities in the community. What I did not realize was how specialized retail sales resumes were. I have a friend who is a career adviser, and after I was unemployed for a few months, he came to me to talk about my resume for retail sales. Apparently, it was not at all the way it should be, and that was what was holding me back.
You see, the requirements for retail sales resumes are different than for other kinds of jobs.
