Digital pets are inexplicable in the sense that they run on the hardware. Digital pets are separate from robot pets and other entertainment robots in that they have no concrete physical form other than the hardware they run on. Interaction with virtual pets may or may not be goal oriented. Digital pets are so much easier to care for than real ones! Anyway, digital pets are in no way a replacement for live pets though they are just as fun to kids as live pets. Best of all, they are allowed in apartments and the residence halls. The unbeaten place to look for virtual pets to take care of is the internet of course so be sure to spend some time searching for the prime digital pet you want.
