My parents are both very traditional academics. They cannot see how bachelor degrees online can help. In their opinion, the point of going to the University is as much about the intellectual community as it is about the job skills. Getting a bachelor degree online would deprive me of the most important part of going to college. I would not be able to engage my peers in intellectual debate. I would not be able to mentor under the guidance of my professors. Needless to say, they were not supportive.
