The most alarming side effect is that Zocor can harm the kidneys…in about 1% of the patients who have arthritis. And Zocor can cause other side effects, which are annoying but not as alarming. Be sure to call your doctor if you have arthritis, and Zocar is part of your pain control, and suddenly develop these symptoms:
- Muscle pain or weakness
- Vertigo or dizziness
- Dark colored urine
- Flu like symptoms
